The older man came to see me about his neck. He had no pain, but could not move from side to side. He had lost movement little by little over many years, and now wanted it fixed. I examined him, and took x-rays. Where I should have seen 7 square-ish vertebrae, I saw one chunk of calcium where his neck used to be. He told me he had had a car crash in 1948 and walked away with no injuries. None that is, except the not-discovered injury to his neck. The vertebrae were all out of line and grinding on one another. Over 40+ years (when I saw him) the bones had sucked up calcium and fused into a solid mass, so slowly he never had any pain. Needless to say, I was unable to help him.
No one is ever prepared for a car crash. When it happens to you, the world seems to revolve around pain and getting treatment and therapy. What works best?
Drugs can mask the pain. Sometimes, it doesn’t hurt at all, or stops after a few days. You think you are OK. No pain means no problem, right? WRONG!
Chiropractic care has a shining track record in finding and correcting the vertebral and soft tissue injuries from a car crash. Get cuts and fractures handled at a hospital then see me for the rest. Our measuring techniques for vertebral and nerve function zero in on the crux of your injuries and allow us to adjust the vertebrae back toward normal function as they heal. We help you to get out of pain, and to get rid of the injury with minimal scarring, and little to no calcium deposits, even in the years later after care is all done. Sometimes, with total patient cooperation, we get it all.
No-fault insurance, on all NY registered cars, pays 100% of the cost of care up to $50,000. That is the combined total of hospital, chiropractor, therapy, etc. Unless you are laid up for weeks in traction and/or with surgery, most cases don’t get that big. Figure to be covered.
We accept no-fault coverage.
